Ingredients

  • 1 sachet Beck’s Broth Protein Hot Chocolate
  • 3 tbsp oat flour (or almond flour for a fudgier texture)
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • 2 tbsp milk (any kind)
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil (or butter)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • (Optional) A few chocolate chips or a square of dark chocolate in the centre

Directions:

  1. In a mug, whisk together the Beck’s Broth Protein Hot Chocolate, oat flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. Add in milk, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla. Stir until smooth and thick (but not dry, add 1–2 tsp more milk if needed).

  3. Stir in or top with a few chocolate chips.

  4. Microwave for 50–70 seconds, depending on your microwave. It should be set on top but still gooey inside.

  5. Let it cool for a minute, then enjoy straight from the mug (or with a dollop of Greek yogurt or peanut butter on top 👀).

Optional add-ins:

  1. 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter for a molten centre
